Jake is 3!!!!

Happy Birthday to a very crazy boy. We had a family party for Jake at one of the sprinkler parks near our house. It was a lot of fun. He asked for an Optumis Prime Transformer cake so here is what he got. Please do not look close it was a long day and the cake got brunt of the damage. After we had Pizza and cake, and opened gifts Jake decieded to run throu the water some more. When he was done he was shivering so bad but still smiling. I love watching him play, he is all BOY. He is the one in the middle black shorts that go to his ankles.

This was him running over to me screaming and having a blast I just loved this picture.

Happy Birthday to my little boy who is growing up way to fast. I can't beleive that you are 3 years old. You have so much energy and spunk and even if I threaten to duck tape you to the top of the car I love you so much and would never really trade you in. Thanks for being my very loveable little boy.
Mom Loves you very much.

Ok, so I'm not good at this blogging thing, I think about it but don't actually get to the computer to type any of the fun, silly, or frustrating things that my family does. So Today when it snowed about 6-8 inches in the desert I figured that had to be put on our blog. and I need some pictures of Jakob.

Here are some very fun pictures of Ryan and Jake playing in the snow today. Then when Paul got home from work they made a snowman that is taller than Ryan. Remember I said we are in the desert. In the almost 18 years of living here it has probably snowed 10 times and it lasts about an hour. This snow will be here for a couple of days. CRAZY. I had sooooo much fun just watching Ryan play in it I didn't worry too much about the runny nose I figured how often his he going to get to play in this much snow at home. Jake was not quite so excited he kept saying "too cold momma too cold" so I'd give him a love and ask if he was done playing and he say yes and look at Ryan playing and go back to playing with this brother. They had snowball fights and Ryan made a snow angle. And get this the school district called and said there might be a snow day. In Las Vegas a snow day I wonder how long it has been since they had one here. Here are some pictures from the day.

It just started and we were ready to play even if it was just a 1/4 of an inch.

It didn't take long before there really was enough to play in.
While Jake took his nap Ryan would go out and play in the snow and throw snowballs at the sliding glass door and just laugh and laugh. When he got cold he came in and we made cookies. Then he went right back out in the snow. What a fun day

After nap Jake really got to play in the snow.
I think his might be Jakes first snowball.... and snowball fight.

Jake thought it was cool he could finally thow stuff at his brother and not get a time out for it.
Paul and the boys building the biggest snowman on the street.

Jake not sure about all the cold snow in his little shoes, no snow boots or gloves in the closet, notice the socks for gloves. I guess if we plan to do this again tomorrow i might run and get some warmer gloves for the boys.
Me and Jake had to head in to make the hot coco before the snowman was done so Ryan and Paul finished it up and doesn't he look good for a desert snowman?
I couldn't believe how many sets of wet clothes we had after one day of snow.
I really think this was one of the funnest days we have had in long time.

All in 1 week

Ok so the first day was rough. It got a lot easier during the week Ryan is a total goofball, you know about Monday. Tuesday, a couple of tears, but he did go get in line and walked in with the class. When I picked him up he gave the teacher a big hug. Wednesday I got a hug, love ya and see you later, mom. Thursday I barely got a hug or love ya. Friday he actually wanted me to drop him off at the curb and let him go by himself. I think that he likes his teacher cause every day he gives her a big hug. Can you believe the change in one week. he is so cute an crazy all at the same time. So we should have a pretty easy school year ahead of us (I did knock on some wood so I wouldn't be juixing myself or Ryan). Time for bed.

Well it was ok until we got in side and the tears and crying came the counslor accually had to peal Ryan off of me. So neither of us liked the first part of the day. But when he was asked how the day went he says he was upset for a little then it was AWSOME!!! so we both felt a lot better so wish us luck for tomorrow.

San Diego

What do you do with a brother that is bugging you??
You burry him up to his neck, in sand.

We went to the beach for the first time for the boys and had so much fun. I can't wait to go again.
