Ok, so I'm not good at this blogging thing, I think about it but don't actually get to the computer to type any of the fun, silly, or frustrating things that my family does. So Today when it snowed about 6-8 inches in the desert I figured that had to be put on our blog. and I need some pictures of Jakob.

Here are some very fun pictures of Ryan and Jake playing in the snow today. Then when Paul got home from work they made a snowman that is taller than Ryan. Remember I said we are in the desert. In the almost 18 years of living here it has probably snowed 10 times and it lasts about an hour. This snow will be here for a couple of days. CRAZY. I had sooooo much fun just watching Ryan play in it I didn't worry too much about the runny nose I figured how often his he going to get to play in this much snow at home. Jake was not quite so excited he kept saying "too cold momma too cold" so I'd give him a love and ask if he was done playing and he say yes and look at Ryan playing and go back to playing with this brother. They had snowball fights and Ryan made a snow angle. And get this the school district called and said there might be a snow day. In Las Vegas a snow day I wonder how long it has been since they had one here. Here are some pictures from the day.

It just started and we were ready to play even if it was just a 1/4 of an inch.

It didn't take long before there really was enough to play in.
While Jake took his nap Ryan would go out and play in the snow and throw snowballs at the sliding glass door and just laugh and laugh. When he got cold he came in and we made cookies. Then he went right back out in the snow. What a fun day

After nap Jake really got to play in the snow.
I think his might be Jakes first snowball.... and snowball fight.

Jake thought it was cool he could finally thow stuff at his brother and not get a time out for it.
Paul and the boys building the biggest snowman on the street.

Jake not sure about all the cold snow in his little shoes, no snow boots or gloves in the closet, notice the socks for gloves. I guess if we plan to do this again tomorrow i might run and get some warmer gloves for the boys.
Me and Jake had to head in to make the hot coco before the snowman was done so Ryan and Paul finished it up and doesn't he look good for a desert snowman?
I couldn't believe how many sets of wet clothes we had after one day of snow.
I really think this was one of the funnest days we have had in long time.

Holy cow, you guys got even more snow than us!!! So cute, we had such a blast. Wasn't it nice to just let them go outside & play in the snow instead of having to trek up to Mt. Charleston or something?! So fun!
